LIPOSUCTION

Liposuction is the most common plastic surgery performed worldwide. With the help of liposuction, the shape and silhouette of certain body regions can be modeled.

Generally

Exercise and a healthy diet help against fat deposits - but not everyone gets a grip on the sometimes stubborn bulges on the stomach, legs or buttocks. Some suffer from sagging skin after pregnancy or large weight loss. One diet after the other, including the yo-yo effect, many people know that. But who doesn't want a firm body in which one feels 100% comfortable?
We currently carry out the most commonly used methods for reducing unnecessary fat and are explained in more detail below.

Method

Liposuction is the most common plastic surgery performed worldwide. With the help of liposuction, the shape and silhouette of certain body regions can be modeled. Unsightly fat deposits, which can often not be removed through exercise and diet, are permanently removed. Fat cells that have been sucked out are not recreated. This means that the body shape achieved through liposuction is permanent.

It is particularly important that the intervention can be performed under local anesthesia. A general anesthetic is therefore not necessary, a twilight sleep is possible on request. With this tumescent local anesthesia (local anesthetic), diluted local anesthesia solution is introduced into the subcutaneous fatty tissue. The actual intervention takes between two and four hours, depending on the scope. At the end of liposuction, a custom-made bodice is put on, which should be worn for 4 weeks.

Risks

The skin incisions for liposuction are only 5 mm long and barely visible after a few weeks. There may be bruising and swelling in the first few days. Overall, liposuction using the tumescent technique is a gentle and low-risk procedure with excellent results.

Result

A change in body shape can be observed immediately after the procedure. It then usually takes 3-4 months for all swellings to disappear and the final post-operative result to be assessed.

TUMMY TUCK

A tummy tuck (abdominal wall plastic) makes the stomach flat and taut again and emphasizes the waist. The procedure can also be combined with liposuction in the waist or hip area to optimize the result. The procedure is carried out under general anesthesia.

THIGH LIFT

After heavy weight loss, the skin on the inner thighs hangs sagging and unsightly. Surgical tightening of the skin may also be necessary after liposuction on the thigh. For this purpose, a transverse cut is usually made below the groin, which changes into a longitudinal cut on the inside of the thigh.

LIPOSUCTION

Fat polsters on the arms, legs, abdomen, hips or chin are often persistent. Thanks to innovative surgical technology, liposuction can be carried out very gently. Once the fat cells are extracted, the body does not regenerate them. This means that the body shape achieved through liposuction is permanent. The results can be further optimized by tightening the skin.

UPPER ARM LIFT

Slack sagging skin on the upper arms can be surgically removed. This requires a spindle-shaped cut that leaves a longitudinal straight scar on the inside of the upper arm. The scar is hardly noticeable once it has healed; it scares the sagging skin much less than before.
